Jay speaks the language of events, sales and marketing.
His technical theatre degree landed him a job out of school as technical director and project manager for the City of Boston, producing free concerts and community events, while freelancing lighting operation for everything from rock concerts to operas.
The production bug stuck. Jay went on to corporate posts, traveling nationally and internationally setting up events and tradeshows; selling major tradeshow sponsorships; and holding lead sales and marketing roles at MarketWire, ExactTarget, and a unit of Dunn & Bradstreet. Jay combined all of this experience, joining Stage Right in 2016.
With his business and event pedigree, Jay understands and empathizes with the customer. He can interpret corporate goals and counsel clients on the staging solutions to use.
Jay is a four-time Chicago marathoner and high-altitude trail runner, foodie and craft beer enthusiast.
